What is Sju S?

Sju S is a structured observation and reporting tool designed for accurate, private, and distraction-free field reporting.

It helps you document observations using a clear, repeatable structure — without accounts, cloud services, or tracking.

Your data stays on your device, unless you explicitly choose to share it.

The Sju S Structure

Sju S is based on a proven observation framework:

  • Stund – Time of observation

  • Ställe – Location (with map and grid reference)

  • Styrka – Number of persons observed

  • Slag – Type (civilian, military, etc.)

  • Sysselsättning – Activity

  • Symbol – Identifiable markings or signs

  • Sagesman – Reporting person

  • Sedan – What happens after reporting

Optional extensions include:

  • SCRIMMN – vehicle or equipment description

  • ABCDE – detailed personal description

Privacy by Design

Sju S is built with privacy as a core principle:

Reports and images are stored in memory only and are shared only when you choose to do so.

A simple app for measuing distances between either a crosshair or GPS point of actual location.

The app has two main modes: Point (a crosshair) or Line.

Point mode: When in point mode, a crosshair is displayed which can be set on a spot of your choice. Tap the screen to mark a waypoint and you’ll see the distance
between the crosshair and the waypoint “Mark”.

Line mode: When in line mode, you can draw a line on the map to measure the total distance. Tap the GPS tool to center the map to your location and the “follow” icon 
to make the map show and alarm if you deviate from the path more than 2 meters.

In line mode, you can also record a path when you’re out walking or running to see the complete distance made.

The app does not track or store any data and is totally isolated on your device.
